Our entire staff has a wide range of experience caring for four-legged friends and look forward to giving your pets the love, care and attention they deserve!
All of our staff are Pet CPR/ and First Aid Certified, trained in pet behavior and we are currently pursuing becoming Fear Free Certified! All of our staff also complete classes thru FetchFind and we are currently members of Pet Sitters International.
Savannah & Bryan
We’re Savannah and Bryan Spruiell, owners and founders of Lucky Paws BCS!
With a lifelong passion for animals, Savannah has been a hobby pet sitter since 2010.
In 2018, Savannah took a leap of faith and followed that passion, leaving her EMS career and founding Lucky Paws BCS. Bryan is currently a critical care paramedic serving in the Conroe and Houston areas.
Savannah has been around animals her whole life; from raising donkeys to caring for a pot belly pig on the family land. Her love of animals has always been apparent to everyone around her, she wanted to be a vet when she was younger. She was heavily involved in the FFA and agriculture classes in high school. Her passion for animals followed her into college, taking her two cats with her until a house fire robbed her of their golden years.
When not caring for your pets, Savannah can be found taking care of her family, going for runs, doing various crafts, traveling and meeting new people at networking events!

Khara
Khara is a rescue mom and was a client of Lucky Paws BCS prior to becoming our first employee in 2021. Her hobbies include watching her step-sons games, reading, and socializing. Pictured is her cat, Cali.

Debbie
Debbie is a retired high school math teacher. She has owned pets since she was 9 years old when her parents gave in to her begging. She has owned and cared for many many animals along the way. Her hobbies include reading (she loves all genres but especially fantasy), spending time with her 2 dogs; Lola and Sophia and cross stitching.
Debbie was promoted to Team Trainer in June 2025, where she helps train all of our new hires!

Sarah
Sarah is a fellow entrepreneur, behavioral trainer, and rescue mom! When not helping her own clients work thru their behavioral challenges or attending to her zoo of animals she loves getting the chance to love on your fur babies!

Mary Grace
Mary Grace is a student at Appalachian State University who spends a lot of time with family in the BCS area. She is an avid nature enthusiast with a dream to work in wildlife conservation. She absolutely loves working with animals and has sporadically worked in the pet care industry for about 6 years. She looks forward to caring for you fur babies!

Jenise
Jenise has had a passion for animals her entire life, and that love has only grown over the years. Her current pet crew includes a dog, cat, snake, gecko, and tortoise — so it’s safe to say that she's comfortable with just about every personality (and species)!
She recently made the move to Texas and am so excited to explore the area while meeting and caring for amazing pets all across the community. She can’t wait to get to know you and your furry (or scaly!) family members.

Taryn is currently a veterinary student pursuing an education in mixed animal practice. Her goal is to develop a career in mobile veterinary services. She has also attained her Bachelor’s of Biomedical Science from LeTourneau University. She loves animals, all shapes and sizes and will show plenty of care and love to all of your furry babies!

Destiny is currently a student at Texas A&M University with a strong passion for animals of all kinds. She has two dogs back home that she absolutely loves spending time with whenever she can. Working with animals brings her so much joy, and she looks forward to caring for your fur babies as if they were her own.

Krislyn
Krislyn is a veterinary student at Texas A&M University with hands-on medical knowledge and experience administering medications, including injections. Her background in veterinary medicine allows her to confidently care for pets with a wide range of needs.
She has four pets of her own — two dogs and two geckos — and truly loves animals of all shapes and sizes. Krislyn looks forward to caring for your pets, whether they’re big, small, furry, or scaly. 🐾
